My husband gets lots of nosebleeds in the winter because the air is so dry (going from the cold outside to the heat inside doesn't help, either). Humidifiers and simple saline spray in his nose every day have helped him prevent them. Also, a small coating of vaseline (petroleum jelly) in the inside of his nose has helped. I'd try these things before going to the doctor if possible.

see a doctor. it's not normal for his nose to bleed like that.

Make sure he's not sticking anything up his nose, too.

Give him more potassium. My sister had bad nosebleeds for a few years and her doctor told her potassium would help. Kiwi, sweet potato and banana all have good amounts.

see the Dr. he may have a condition where the capillaries are very close to the skin on the interior of his nose. i had this issues when i was little. every sneeze was a worrisome event. but it is likely just the drier air.

Get a humidifier in his room. Some kids get lots of nose bleeds in the winter when things are drier. You can also rub a little vasiline in the inside of his nose before bed. My son gets a lot of nose bleeds in the winter. Once they get one, their nose is more prone to bleed for a couple days because the clot can come loose. If you're worried though, talk to his doc.

Dry air can be a cause of nose bleeds. It doesn't allow the nasal passages to heal. Use saline spray in their nose during the day to help add moisture. Then run a humidifier or vaporizer in their room at night. I would talk to a doctor if it doesn't get better or gets worse.

Hi i would say you need to get it checked by a dr it could be an issue with his clotting in the blood. The other thing is does he hit it before hand or does it just start off hand?? I think it would be best to talk to a dr about what is going on. You have to watch little ones this age they tend to be lower in iron already then us adults and reasonable blood lose can make things worse. Good luck
