I have to repeat myself over over again, before she does what I asked her to do. She is six. If her father ask after I have said it a number of times ,She does it for him. It's very stressful. Any Sugestions.

My daughter and soun they are 5 and 4 and they do the same thing for me. I have been told it is the tone in their fathers voice that gets their attention so maybe try being more assertive when you speak to her, by no means yelling, but just strong. I guess as moms we sound to nice to them lol good luck

Hi, I have the same problem with my five year old son. His teacher has suggested that I touch him when speaking to him so that I can get his full attention. I ask him to look at me when I'm speaking. Hope it helps
