If it's something that has happened suddenly I would look in her mouth to make sure she hasn't got any blisters or maybe oral thrush that may be causing her pain or even if she has a sore throat/tonsilitis. If she's never really wanted to eat anything then I wouldn't worry, she won't starve herself. If you are really worried see a doctor or health nurse or buy some Pediasure for her to drink. Pediasure has all the nutrients in it they need and they can live on it if necessary. Kids in hospitals sometimes live on it for months or longer....Have you asked her nicely why she won't eat. Wait until she is playing happily with her toys and then just ask her as if it isn't a big deal. If she likes dolls, set up a picnic and see what happens....listen to what she is telling the dolls or what the dolls are saying and it might give you a clue...

My daughter didn't eat much for a couple months then this passed week she's started eating like a teenage boy. I know that their appetite can come and go. So don't worry too much, as long as they're drinking and pooping they're fine.

Give her two choices of things (veggie juice or fruit juice? ham or turkey sandwich?). Tell her its time to eat and she needs to sit at the table. You could always try the old trick, put it away and give it to her at the next meal.

Don't force her. When she gets hungry she'll eat. My daughter is 9 and since she was 2 she has hardly eaten anything. She eats like a bird, and then says she's full. I figure she'll probably want to eat more as she gets older. Kids won't let themselves starve. Ask other mothers and most of them have the same problems.

I have no advice, sorry, but I will say that no child has ever starved itself to death lol. So you should be ok in the long run!
