My daughter is 18 months old and she still lays down with a bottle... weather it has milk or warm water in it.. I had seizures when she was younger and we had to go to the head doctor and i feel that by waitting so long that it is to late.... How do i get her off the bottle? Please help

I switched my 2 1/2 year old to the nubie cup. When it was time for my 6 year old to give it up we waited till we went on vacation and we told him we forgot them at home. He was sooo tired when we were away he just passed out and never asked for it again.

Get her a sippy cup that has a nipple like spout on it, that's what i used in the beginning although my daughter gave the bottle up on her own along with milk and formula lol.... but we are still holding onto that binky! Also i know it may sound cruel but my peditrician says just take it away....... don't give her an option, you give her the sippy cup with her milk in it and that's all she gets, she will not be happy at first but when she realizes that's all she's getting she will go along with it. Try out different sippy cups till she finds one she likes, and often times they want thier milk in a different kind of cup than juice...

To get my daughter off i got those nubby cups with the soft spout on it and then hid all of the bottles while she was napping and in matter of days they were a thing of the past
