I totally understand what you are going thru. My kids are exactly 2 1/2 and 1 1/2, they are exactly 11 months apart. My son is VERY busy and from the time he started crawling he was into everything! I used to keep the doors shut and tie all the cupboards shut. I started putting him in timeout when he was one because he did understand what he was doing was wrong so I decided that I need to nip it in the bud asap. He is getting better now about not getting into things as he asks for what he wants. So when he does something he's not supposed to I tell him to go to timeout, set the timer and he knows that when the timer beeps we talk about it. It takes alot of consistantsy and PATIENCE! My husband is an over the road truck driver so I can stay home as well, so I totally know how you feel especially with 2 little ones all by yourself. Let me know if you have any other questions or just want to chat!!

OHHH I see...How old is she? What about all the safty things they have out like the door know covers, the cabnit locks....I give my kids one cabnit to play in and that is the tupperware...they are allow in ther and that is all. I keep any kind of liquid or cream out of reach or locked away...IT is a tough age when they get into everything but that is just them growing and exploring....it is fun and cute the first time they get the whole role of TP but after the 3rd time you want to pull your hair out. so that door stays shut.

Unfortunately there is NO cure for this! lol. You just have to be patient... You have to be extremely consistent. EVERY time, every, you have to pop a hand or however you handle it and either do a timeout (if old enough) or not give dessert or something and be sure to explain why they aren't getting it. Then, once they sorta get it down and have a good day, give them a special treat for trying and explain why they are getting the treat! My daughter is the same way!!! This worked for her... And, now I'm starting over with my son... Good luck. Remember it takes time and consistency.
