Oh and I forgot another helpful tip . Its kinda gross but does work. When she has accidents with number 2 help her take the dirty diaper to the potty and dump the mess in and flush so she associates that poop goes in the potty

I found a potty training kids video at the library. It was a cartoon where they sang about going potty and underpants and stuff. We spent three days in the living room with the potty, no diaper, and the video and wallah. Still had some accidents for a while, but it worked! I was really sick of the singing and dancing animals and it was hard to stay patient constantly cleaning pee off the floor (luckily I don't have carpet), but it was well worth it. What ever you do keep your cool. Good luck! We've all been there or will be soon.

If you're a stay at home mom or can afford to take some time off I would recommend the 'Naked and $75' method created by John Rosemond. It worked wonders with my twins! Once YOU are ready tell her frankly that she will be going on the potty from now on. Let her be naked from the waist down until she gets the swing of things. Once she is doing well going on the potty introduce underwear. Eventually you will have a potty trained princess. Good luck! p.s.- If you're wondering what the $75 is for, it's to clean your carpets..lol.

She wont do it until she is ready... They have to be mentally willing and want to do it.. Try to reward her if and when you can get her to use the potty! And get her some big girl panties...make a big deal about it when she uses the potty. yay!! clap...dance...anything that lets her know she has done something great in mommys eyes....get a potty sit it in front of the tv when her fav show is on..

I found an Elmo Potty Book at Target in the coloring book section that comes with a potty chart and stickers...every time my son used to the potty he got to put a sticker on the chart. He was so excited about the stickers he wanted to try all day long! It took awhile for him to not have accidents but this definetly worked for him...my sister did the same with her daughter and it also worked. A friend of mine bought a fun potty and put it in the living room on top of a a mat in case of accidents so that her little boy would be able to immediately stop what he was doing and go ...little by little she moved it towards the bathroom and he started going on his own. Make sure you praise her every time she tries so she knows thats what shes supposed to do! Good Luck!
