We recently moved and my 21 month old boy stayed at the new house with my Friend so i could get all the stuff from the old place to the new place. he has never been away from me before and this event traumitised him. so everytime i duck to the toilet, or have a shower, or even go outside to garbage bin, he freaks right out. i cant go any where with out him thinking im running away or something.

we have an engagement party to go to in a month or so and no kids are alowed so i was wondering for some tips to try and get him back to normal again.

I don't know. My son acts like this and we didn't move. Although the move may not have helped but your son might have eventually gotten this way regardless. Sometimes around this age they get separation anxiety.

When I take a shower, go to the bathroom, or leave to go to work my son gets upset. Sometimes he's worse than others. He's usually worse when he's tired. He's so attached to me. Lately he's bean waking up in the middle of the night and wanting to sleep in my bed. I am just waiting until the phase passes.

If it does have to do with the move it may pass by the time the engagement party comes. He may just need to adjust to the new place and the party is a month away.
