He is most likely screaming out of fuseration not anger. He is most likely wanting to get you to understand something but does not know how to express it you. You need to stay calm and not feed in anymore to his frustration. Get down to his level, and very calmly tell him to calm down and ask him what is the problem. I know easier said than done right. He needs to learn how to express himself better, and know that, that behaviour is unacceptable. He could also have a hearing problem if you find he is screaming/yelling too much. You can very easily make an appointment with a ENT doctor.

I am not sure what to tell you as I have a screamer too who is now three years old and still screaming. Whether it be because he is mad, sad, upset, happy - anything he is so loud. I have tried time outs and repeatedly asking him not to scream. Nothing seems to work. We're just waiting for him to grow out of it.
