Have him evaluated by his pediatrician and refer him to an occupational or speech therapist who has experience in sensory integration issues in regards to feeding. If his diet is extremely limited beyond just being a "Picky eater" it cold be an actual oral sensory processing medical condition that can be treated. Research "food chaining" for ideas to help. It is based on using the foods your child will tolerate to expand his diet to other types of food.Good luck. I know it can be frustrating.

My son is 5yrs old and the fussiest eater going. When we 1st started weaning him he was fine loved food then got to 9mths old and refused to eat anything except weetabix, fromage frais, bananas, biscuits and crisp. We've gone and done everything we can to try and get him to eat. Even our health visitor has drawn a blank and can not think of anything else to try. She suggested things like a reward chart, the whole family eating together but not drawing any attention to your child not eating and when you have finished your meal to take theirs away and offer nothing else. It may just be a phase so keep trying but be relaxed about it hard i know. Like i said Callum is now 5yrs and stil hardly eats but eats more than he used to and amazingly he is of average weight and height for his age. And he has more energy then his 2 younger siblings put together who eat everything espicially fruit and veg.

First don't worry tooo much, my son's pediatrician say it's typical for toddlers to behave this way. My input, find out what he's interested in eating and give him that and slowly introduce other stuff. I've been giving vita supplmnts to my son that comes in liquid forms as well to ensure he's getting more nutriends....you can find it at a Whole Foods store....good luck! =)

My 3 year old son doesn't eat "meals" either. I have to keep a lot of snacky like foods in the house for him to munch on. But when I mentioned this to my pediatrician he said that it was perfectly normal for a toddler to not want big meals. And as long as they are getting some nutrients from something, then they should be good to go. Make sure he is drinking enough milk ect. My kids love apple slices, and 100% fruit snacks, graham crackers, things like that. I figure something to eat, is always better than nothing at all! He'll come around, don't worry!

Dont be to worried my 2 yr old son lived on yogos and noodles for 6 months just keep intrucing different foods and dont get to upset if they dont eat it at first.

In time they will give it a go my son now is three and still doesnt eat everything i give him but he is trying differnt foods now ..and as long as they are eating something they like and drinking .everything will work out and just keep in there goodluck
