My 2 year old is being stubborn also, I started taking her on every 20 minutes , it is time consuming but it is very effective, she is using it a lot more and letting me know when she has to go, consistency is the key, let them know you are there for them and pretend to go yourself that also made her feel comfortable, it was mommy and me potty time.

My daughter was the same way. She was very stubborn and would throw a fit if I even took her in the bathroom.  I went to the dollar store and bought some little toys and stuff like that. I told her if she would start using the potty, she could get a special treat everytime she went. She started going about once a day and within a week, she was going on the big potty everytime she needed to go. Giving her a special treat, made her want to use the potty. If you don't want to have to buy special treats, try using stickers on a potty chart and telling him that after he gets 5 stickers, he can get some type of reward. I had tried potty training my daughter many times before she actually got potty trained. I learned that I couldn't make her go when she didn't want to, that I just needed to wait until she was ready to do it on her own. Good Luck!!

My son is turning this week.  He just started using the potty two weeks ago.  His cousin had to go potty and that was it he followed him in the bathroom and went with him.  Ever since then he's gone in the potty.  We've had two accidents in two weeks... not to shabby.   Now no. 2 is hard for him.  He still doesn't want to do that.   Good luck.
