I think that we have had maybe a month of him sleeping through the night in 3 years. we are exhausted or should I say i am exhausted. And now I went back to work in Feb and is in need of sleep.

aww maybe he just wants to cuddle, my son does that too about 3-4 times a week. he goes to sleep at 10-11 and wakes up around 730-8 and comes in bed with us which he falls right back asleep..i loves those night..2 yr olds dont like to cuddle as much as they used too so i would take advantage of it as long as he falls back asleep and dosen;t keep you up =]

He doesn't say anything he gets up walks in to our room and gets in bed with us. And now he has gotten to the point where he is slick and we don't realize he is there until we wake up a few hours later. He does understand to a point. He says nite nite time at 9 but and wake up time at 7:30. Its crazy. He has been a pretty sickly child sense he was born but I thought he would sleep better. HMMM

My daughter just started sleeping through at about 19 months but then just a few weeks ago at 22/23 months she sometimes doesn't as she wakes up screaming but she is goin through a I am scared of everything phase so havin bad dreams. I hear some kids don't sleep through til they are 4 and that is just the way it is I guess by doctors even as every child is different. But yeah just definately don't let him actually get up. If he wakes for drink give him some quietly with lights still off. If bad dream just comfort them but in their bed. Good luck!

dang that must be ruff, he is almost 3 and should understand, when he wakes up just tell him its not time to get up yet and put him back to bed and tuck him in and walk out...he might cry but soon fall asleep. what does he say when he wakes up??
