My son just started sleeping through the night at 6 months. He now goes to bed at 7pm and wakes up at 7am. Sometimes he may wake up once, but I will just go in his room and give him his pacifier and he will go back to sleep. My first son slept 12 hours straight starting at 2 months. Every baby is different. I would just make sure you feed and change him right before bed so you know he is now waking up due to hunger.

he's old enough that he doesnt need a feeding during the night. if you still feed him during the night the first step is to cut that feeding out. remember sleeping through the night is considered 7-9 hours. my first slept through the night from 6 weeks, and my second is now 4 months old and still not sleeping through the night. he fusses two or three times but i dont feed him until 6 am. Just go in, give him his soother or comfort item that he has let him know its okay and leave the room. if you keep doing this he will eventually figure out that hes not going to get any special attention and go to sleep. it does take some babies a year though so its just all about patience!

My kids were closer to 9-10 months before they slept through. Unfortunaltly I have no advice to help get him to sleep longer. I just had toget up and feed my likds until they finaly grew out of it. It seemed like that day would never come, but it does and before you know it they're half grown up and you long for the days when you got that special cuddling time with them in the middle of the night. My oldest will be 15 next week and my bay will be 1 in two weeks, so I just try to enjoy all of it as much as possible. It goes way too fast the way it is without trying to wish any part of it by faster, even the rough stages. :)

his still young give him a while yet make sure you have bedtime routine in place bottle or food bath story or cuddles which ever u do then kisses. at his age he is still gona need milk during the night so you wont be able to make him sleep through just yet but a good routine will help for when his older.
