My son will be 2 on April 22 and we are planning a birthday party. Does anyone have any ideas of games for 2 year olds???

I hired a jumping castle for my girl's 2nd birhday - I they LOVED it, kept them happy and busy for hours.

Paint your sidewalk with water and large paint brushes! My 2 and 4yr-olds love this. Also just plain ring-around-the rosey and make up extra verses is fun.... "skip, run, walk, dance, tip-toe round the rosey"

you could get some of those empty plastic eggs, that are about for easter, fill them with treats and hide them round the house or garden, and have a special prize in a couple

Pin the tail on the donkey with no blindfold is doable for 2 year olds. There are also pinatas with ribbon strings for the kids to pull (rather than hitting with a stick).

Inside game home made play dough, their is a eatable play dough also but it does have nuts in because it made out of peanut butter. Beach balls for everyone so they can kick them this can be for indoor or outdoor I do it out door because I don't want anything broken. A outdoor pool filled full of those multi colored balls for inside kids love it. Keep it simple because they are two. Have fun them they are just little and kids just want to play with kids. Outside go go stop and give prizes. My son loves running. Always say too much planning can stress you and the kids out. Like I said before keep it simple and go with the flow. Have fun and Happy Birthday to your son.

Pass the parcel and lolly hunts are always good to keep the curious 2 year olds occupied or a jumping castle or jsut let the kids play with balls and the balloons with the music to dance to. have fun

For my daughter's second birthday party we did a pinnata, tail on the donkey, sidewalk chalk art, and things like that. They are all good to do outside if you are doing it at your house or someone else's house. That is what we did when I had it, it was at my sister's house... It was at the end of October, so we were lucky to do it. Good luck and have fun! Don't let it stress you out though...
