I live in Adelaide and i was at my girlfriends house one day, when her 2 yr old got out his bike and started crusing round the yard on it. Surprising yes but more surprising was that it had no peddles, all he did was pushed himself along with his feet and he was really fast at it with really good balance. She told me that in the europen countries they learn balance first, ( no trainning wheels) and then when they have mastered that then you add the peddles. So for my sons 2nd bday that is wot he got a bike specially designed without peddles. He loves it, took him a bit longer to want to ride it and he is still just at walkin pace on it but his balance is really good. If your interested, i got it from Semaphore Rd bike shop SA. Just ring them to find out more. Goodluck.

My son just turned 4 last week, he first started peddling his bike early summer this year! I was worried too, but found that it was truly one of those things hel do when HE'S ready at his time. Now, he will only take his bike along for family waks around the neighborhood. (he used to only want to tak his scooter) iwould not worry if I was you, ad I ca say that from experience :0)

Don't worry. Depending on his age, his gross motor skills are still developing. My son's tries to pedal but really hasn't learned yet. How old is your son? Many children are 3 1/2 or 4 before they are able to pedal.

"Nah shell b right", My boys 3 in September and hes not pedaling yet. How old is he? If u r worried just take the pedals off his bike like the ride to glide bike in the shops and then let him get the hang of the hole balance thing first then when hes ready put the pedals back on and hopefully with a little help and encouragement he'll be riding a bike in on time, or if u don't do that u may find one day he'll just get on his bike and be off.
Good luck hope this helps. :)

My son is gonna be 3 next month and still won't peddle his bike, part of me was worried because his cousin who is 2 months younger seems so much more advanced, but kids do things when they are ready, and most of the time he won't peddle, and he just doesn't want to.
