Nap time advice!!!

My son is 16 months old. He still takes 2 naps a day. I am a stay-at-home mom and he's always taken his naps with me. I really want him to start taking naps in his crib but every time i try he screams his head off and will not go to sleep. He also has to have his sippy cup. He sleeps great at night without a sippy cup and in his crib. I don't really have any problems getting him to sleep at night and he sleeps through the night and has been for awhile. So, how do i get him to sleep in his crib and without the sippy cup for his naps?

I lay down with my son on the couch until he falls asleep then I put him in his bed. Sometimes he wakes up and sometimes he doesn't but I think it's because I slept with him for so long. Are you trying the same routine as at night? If not try to and see if that helps. Good luck!
