Lately I have been having a hard time getting my 3 year old twins to take a nap. Do your children still take naps? How old are children when they generally quit napping? Is this just something I should say goodbye to?

Our son just turned 3 and it depends wheather or not he sleeps, however, he understands that there will be quite time. I will let him look at books but he has to stay silent in his bed. Amazing; 80% of the time he falls asleep:) It's more that I am giving him the contol so to speak. When he is relaxed he can rest better. It all depends on the child, if they seem to be doing all right without a nap then it maybe time to say good bye to mommy time...sorry:) You can always do quite time like I do and if they fall asleep and the more power to you and if they don't at least you still have had the time to have at least an hour to yourself to get more done. Good Luck to you
