My daughter was off the bottle by the time she turned 8 months at that time I transitioned her to the sippy cups with the soft tops. Mabey you should try that. Take them to the store and let them pick out a cup that they would like to use, mabey that will help and have them throw the bottles away.

It's not an easy road that is for sure. I used a binky to get my oldest daughter off the bottle which worked great, but then before I knew it I was trying to figure out how to get her off the binky. We just went cold turkey with my youngest recently and she did great. Not sure where you are located but at Walmart they have these sippy cups that have lids very similar to a bottle, rubber and soft and you remove the two pieces just like a nipple and ring. That's what I first started using when I introduced the sippy to my girls, made it seem a lot more like a bottle. And they aren't more than a few dollar per cup. Good luck!

it is going to be tough but u just have to throw away the bottles especially for your 2 yr old. constantly using a bottle can cause dental problems. but if they dont take sippy cups try the straw cups. they are about the same price and dont give in. i wish there was an easier/better way to do it but with two of them u cant let one have it and not the other. you will most likely encounter a few tantrums but they will drink out of a sippy or a straw cup if that is all they are given. another option would be for u to let your 2 yr old use a regular big girl cup (no lid) and help her. she might take to that better. hope it helps and stay strong, it wont seem like it at first but it is what your girls need
