New baby and kiddie who has turned into one

I am a mom of now 4 boys. One of my children has a disability and seems to be doing okay so far with new baby who is almost a month old. However my 3 year old has declared war on my nerves. He continuosly throws temper tantrums, cries, and just does not listen anymore, getting him to stay in the bed is the biggest challenge. I don't really know how to get him to adapt or feel okay about being a big boy/brother other than letting him know that he is loved. I'm a single mom and am stretched quite a bit. Any tips?

Eutopia, try letting your three year old be involved with looking after the baby, I am a mum of a 1,2 & 4 yr old and had similar problems with my eldest when number three came along. Let him help bath baby and hand you nappies and be involved. Also ignore his misbehaviour (as best you can- i know they make that hard at times!). Only pay him attention when he is behaving appropriately. It must be very hard for you with four little ones on your own. If you ever need to chat, write me back. Best of luck, Alana
