My son had the same problem and the clinic sister advised me to buy E45 cream and use it instead of any other product. She also told me to put Bennets Aqueous Bath Drops into the bath water instead of baby oil. His skin cleared up after about 3 days and I have never struggled with dry skin again! He is now 2.

i just googled johnsons baby products causing cancer, and it came up with a site full of info on thousands of products that have been tested, it said that there are ingredients in some johnsons sutff and others too that create a chemical reaction when they are sitting on the shelf and create formeldehyde...thats bad!! plus because its not added and it creates itself due to all the chemicals mixing they dont have to put it on the label...very scary stuff, luckily i dont use it though lol...making me freak out a bit though about other stuff..

i'ev never herd anything bad about Johnson products my family has been use them for years i can understand that it may irritate the skin if your child is allergic to some thing in it but causing cancer? to me thats like saying if you pet a cat you go blind how can they proof that?

Use a moisturising bath wash and use vaseline after the bath. You can also use aqueous cream which is recommended by the health visitors. All babies go through this as they are used to being in water in your tummy and their skin dries out when wearing clothes and are always dry. Bless her it will sort it's self out but for now just use simple unperfumed baby wash from the chemist.

Remember do not use Johnsons alot of studies have found that the chemicals in their baby bath and baby oil can cause serious irritations and in some cases cancer.

all baby go though that when my boys went though it i put a little baby oil in their bath water and rubbed a calming baby lotion on them every night before bed it takes about 3 or 4 day before you will start to see a differences but don't worry to much about it its normal for a baby to get dry skin
