I would'nt worry to much children learn at different stages he just might not be ready yet. Just leave the potty out so he knows it is there and you will be amased to find that he will probably start using if it is not forced on him. Well that is what happened with my now 3 yr old,who is now out of nappies and pull ups completely by himself. Just remember they might be young but they still have minds of there own too.

my son is 3 and we just got him potty trained,he to had no intrest at all.But make it fun.We let him take a book to look at ( potty book haha) well he sits on potty,or a toy to play with. Another thing that helped was i would get him to sit on potty and take pictures of him and i would say "look now we can show everyone what a big boy you are". Hopefully this helps,i understand how ya feel, but just make it fun, stick her in panties too, that also helps cause they feel like there a big kid

I have 2.5 yr old twins. I am in the process of potty training as well! I made them a sticker chart and posted it beside the potty, in the bathroom! Everytime they try to go and even #1, I would give them sticker to put on their charts. If they would #2, which we are still working on...that is always harder to train, I would give them 2 stickers for their charts! I also use a potty seat that sits on the regular toilet and I have a step stool for them to help them get up on it! Then when they are done, they take the stool over to the sink to wash their hands! They really think it's neat!!

*just to let you know, I am training the older twin more because she seems more interested in it. However, if the younger one follows, that's great!!**

I hope that this helps.

make some kind of reward i had the same problem with my oldest everytime she used the potty she would get to pick from a couple of different things depending on what time it was she had a sticker book she could have a couple of gold fish crackers just pick a couple different things that she would be interested in and only give it to her when she uses the potty.
