There are two things that I have used for both my kids, one boy and one girl. Believe it or not burnt flour is amazing. Not sure if you've ever heard of it or tried yet. If not, take a cookie sheet..sprinkle flour all over it evenly..you can make as much or as little as you like. Put it in the oven on 350 and keep an eye on it, when it turns golden brown it's done. Take it out and store it in a jar/container and it lasts VERY long..your boy will be out of diapers before it goes bad. If you use that, when doing the diaper change make sure he's clean and dry then sprinkle it on him as you would a baby powder. Try this each diaper change for a couple days and you should see a very drastic but excellent improvement.

If that doesn't seem to work or if no other creams are working when I had taken my daughter and son to the Dr. over this issue they told me to buy a cream called Clotrimazole Cream USP 1%. It's available at the local pharmacy and I know it cost 8 dollars a tube here. If you use this cream just follow directions which tells you to put just a sparingly amount of cream over the area of concern and do this three times a day. Within about three days it was almost cleared up and by the end of the week it was if it wasn't even there. Hope I've helped!!

My son has that when he has been sick. When he starts to seem to feel better he seems to get the loose stools. He has had really bad diaper rash twice. We use either A&D zinc oxide cream or Pinkax(Pink-Salve) and his diaper radh usually goes away in a few days.Desitin doesn't work as well for him when his rash is bad.

Could he be teething? Not sure how old your son is, but those last molars can be pretty difficult.
