What's the oddest name you've ever seen or heard?

I think for me it's definately Apple, Felonie, Rein Beau...

*Not judging you if you or your child's name is any of the above or below. Just pure curiousity of what the wierdest names are out there.

Ok here's another one, my friend works at the county courthouse. She got a social security card for a lady's baby named "Trash'Y" (pronounced Tra shae) however look at the spelling, it looks like Trashy!!!

My husband and I had an agreement before I even became pregnant that I would be able to name the girl and he would get to name the boy (1st of each only no questions asked). Since he was 11 he wanted to name his son Lion and he did. I was weary about it for a long time but Lion confirmed he loved it at the chekout lane when someone questioned it and he said "I like it". We agreed on Lion instead of Lyon or another variation because we were afraid people would mess it up...unfortunatly they still do.

H. with the period... apparently his parents were hippies.

I really like the boy name Loki... but my family thought it was a bit foreboding for a poor child. It's from Norse Mythology for those who don't know. On the same note I like Freya... which is from the same story.

I heard a mom call her son Starlight and daughter Moon Beam. All I could think of was if the next one was going to be Rainbow Brite...

One of my coworkers has a son named Lucius. Pronounced Lu-shus) and another son Sebastian. Definitely not everyday names.

I knew a boy in high school called Wayne Kerr. I also met a couple once called Norma and Norman Voice. They were both speech therapists! No joke.

My boy's name is Aneirin, that's strange enough for most here in Australia.

When I was with my ex he had the whole thing planned. We were going to have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls (like you get to choose!) and here are the names they would have had (HA!):
#1 Cairo Dragan (boy)
#2 Oceana Storm (girl)
#3 Daytona Trace (boy)
#4 Rein Beau Skye (girl)
He also had spares in case of additional children:
Blaize, Leaf, River....
He was always going to 'make it' as a singer/songwriter even though he turned down gigs, never sang, never wrote songs..... Seriously, he had some songs that were halfway decent but they were still unfinished after 4 yrs. Delusional. :)

I also like different but not too crazy names. Our son's name is Rowan Larkin. I like the fact that I can call his name and I don't have 20 other children turing around at the same time to see if their mother was calling them. LOL
