My daughter did that until a few months ago. I then made the mistake of putting her in her bed and letting her fall asleep with me beside her. Now I read her a book in her bed, tuck her in, and leave the room, shutting the door behind me. She cries but it is for a few minutes and shes out. After 6-8 months old they should not need you with them to sleep.

We sleep with our little man and we love it,when he wakes up were there when he has bad dreams were there when his sick were there and we don't have to wake up or worry when his in his bedroom. We can see the total goodness of sleeping with him, when we go to work n come back home n all sleep together we feel complete as those are the few hrs we can be all together.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with sleeping with ur baby, when me n hubby need to be together we get the chance of trying out the other part of the house and its so much fun after being together for long n still trying out different rooms

U know i had it so easy my son did everything his self he likes sleeping in his room alone. I would try putting your lil man in his bed and u lay on the floor till he goes to sleep then u go to your own bed. Talk to his before and let him know he is safe and u will be there for him but he needs to be a big boy and big boys sleep in there room in there big boy beds. Communication is so great for young children my son talks to me like a normal adult with normal conversations dont baby talk him anymore (if u did). Also try a night light maybe he is just scared of the dark.
