I am in so much need of getting my 2 year old daughter who will be turning 3 in December..and starting preschool.... My husband works 2nd shift in the coal mines and our daughter has always seemed to have her days and nights mixed up...When I thought i had her on a routine and her in bed by 10 and getting up at 8 she changes in 1 night with nothing going on different.... like right now its 4:20 a.m. and shes still up.... I have tried dinner , bath, story, no tv for an hour before I start this...and NOTHING I am doing is working....she sleeps til 12 noon and dont take naps hardly at all and when I see her falling asleep I go fast and wake her up..And if I do get her in bed before 12 she sleeps 2 to 3 hours and wakes right back up and is up til daylight... I cant stand this any longer... Its wearing me out.. I never have an energy or anything... and She just keeps getting worse on the time she goes to sleep... At around 11 to 12 she starts getting SUPER hyper and I can't get her to settle down..she tried to jump off the couch onto her lil couch... and she fights sleep so bad...she will lay and fake cry and kick her legs to keep moving... Its like she thinks she gonna miss something if she goes to sleep...I am at my wits end...And I just dont know what else to do....PLEASE HELP!!!

I really wish you good luck my friend x x I suggest tea at 5 nothing sugary after limit her sugary stuff to 1 maybe 2 a day watch out for e numbers put her in the bath around 7 then a warm drink of milk before bed at 8 remember the bath needs to be quiet and calm then try reading her a story in bed when she comes out of bed then return her to bed every time but only whispering its bed time show her no attention she will try every trick in the book but dont give in in theory this should not last too long x x get her up at 7am every morning and get her plenty of exercise and fresh air during the day and no naps at all x x x x good luck x x x
