potty training

Can anybody tell me if there is an easier way to potty train a child and if so, please indicate the possible way because it is very hard work, especially when I work outside the home and have to rely on both my mom and my mom-in-law to help her along?!!!

I guess without any info on what you are doing it's hard to give tips. But as the other mom suggested, don't make it a battle. If you're forcing her, you'll lose, and it will take longer. Find a good incentive (like stickers, or m-n-m's, or any chocolate, but not sticky chewy stuff - I learned that one the hard way, $3000 in dentist bills later - for one kid!) Make sure you do the happy dance after she does have success. That's also Very imp and free! I'm gearing up for #3 so I need to remind myself of this stuff too.

You really dont want to force them in to it. My oldest was 4 and that was because I was trying to hard. You want them to tell you when they are ready. My girls are 20 months apart and they both potty trained at the same time the younger one was just over a year. My kids went to daycare all day and it really helps if your all on the same page. Good luck!!!
