My son was almost 3 before he got potty trained...he just wasn't ready before & we moved, etc so it wasn't the right timing. Your daughter may not be ready, but you should see how she reacts to the potty chair. Introduce it to her & make it a big deal - tell her that if she uses it, each time she'll get a treat & of course, when she does make a huge deal about it. If she wants nothing to do w/the potty chair, I wouldn't force her, but leave it out so she can know it's there for when she is ready. Try her again on it in another month. I know it's hard, but it will be more frustrating for you if you try to force it on her when she's not ready. Also, you can try one of those potty training dvds for kids - I bought the "potty power" one & my son loved it- wanted to watch it over & over - may help introduce her to the potty better. Hope this helps...

Well I have just started doing this while my 1 year old has his diaper off. Usually right before I put him in the bath.
When he grabs his crouch I ask him if he needs to peepee. I let him lead me into the bathroom where I set him on the potty and say peepee. (I havent had the chance to buy a little potty yet). I dont know if this works but he seems to kind of get the jist of it, He also watches his dad.

What kind of worked for me was letting her go without diaper or pants on around the house if u can,,better if u have wood or tiled floors. Put the potty in an easy accessible area like in my case it was the livingroom. My son got the hang of things within a week. I am having issues with him still going in the diapers most of the time, but I know atleast he knows what he SHOULD be doing. I am posting on that right after I post this, lol. Hope this helps a bit.
