Hi! My son is two and half now and we are just starting potty training, only the last 3 days or so. He has even peed once on the potty. I made a huge deal over it, clapping and telling him what a big boy he is. No my question is how to keep it up. How often should I ask/take him to the potty? What kinds of rewards do you give? I gave him a sticker when he peed. Is that enough? We do have a chart but should I do more then just the stickers? Any advice would be great. Thanks!!!!

Stickers are always a great reward to kids his age. When we started potty training my stepson, who was around the same age, I would sit him on the potty almost every hour. He picked it up really quick. When stickers werent enough to get him to go, we had to turn to offering him a sucker everytime he would go. We went to the store and bought a big bag of the dum dum suckers. He loved it and is now potty trained.
