I have a 2 year old son who just wants to play with his parts... He is not serious to go potty. When I go I put him on the potty too. I even ran the water in the sink to see if that would work no luck. I need help too

I agree with the previous post. Do not dicipline the accidents, and as far as getting him to sit down maybe try a potty that makes noises, We boght one by fisher price. Try little treats like one skittle if he pees and two if he poos. Just try little activities that will catch his attention. We had no trouble with our son going to the restroom and he is actually just turning three. We started sitting him down maybe right after he turned two, and by maybe a few months later he was already in Pull ups. We did it all as friendly and encouraging as possible. . and he is great at going. But don't hesitate some kids tkae longer than others.

same here...im just tired of every one else thinking he should be trained and he is 2 and a half and can talk very well, but im having problems training him... he pees on the toilet sometimes, but i believe when they are truly ready they will do it...of course with a little encouragement!

i found that training my little girl was quite easy she loves praise and making a fuss. U should never deciplin accidents as he will never want to learn. have u tried a pottie thats in argos its like a mini toilet and sings and gives ur child tips that was really helpfull for me I found buying a child seat to go over ur nomal toilet seat was what worked best for me it made my daughter feel really growen up. Dont worry all children are different and he will do it in his own time just make sure ur there to give him lots ov praise when he does do it Hope thats a bit ov a help Claire xx
