she might not really be ready...use rewards for what you want and don't react negatively when she has accidents...feed what you want to grow...what is a snack that she likes...m&ms, a cookie, etc...something small as she will get the hang of it and you want to reward every time for about a week...have her sit on the potty a few times a day for a few minutes and reward her for sitting there too...when she does go make a big deal of it!!! high five, tell everyone that comes over, call grandma...kids like positive attention....

she is still very young none of my children have been potty trained before 2 and a half almost three for my third - the older she is the more her language skills have developed and the more she is able to understand what it is you want her to do. i tried to train my first child at 2 because the second one was on the way but had no luck in the end i gave up and tried again a few months later. i still ahd the potty about and let him use it if he wanted to but i didn't force it. a child needs to do it in their own time when they're ready or else you're going to be cleaning up a lot of wee
