Potty Training

My daughter is 2 1/2. She started to potty train a month or so ago sort of on her own and with our encouragement has been doing fantastic for about a month. The only problem is that she will not tell me when she needs to poop, the only time she does it in the potty is if I catch her with a red face in time but usually there is no outward sign that she is doing it or she runs away to do it which I have heard is not that uncommon. I know I just need to be patient but it is hard. She does not have a "normal" schedule and that is the only advice people are giving me...any ideas to help get all the mess in one place?

add a little water to her potty chair. She hears herself pee and she can hear her self poo by doing this. She can be proud

I started today with the whole underwear thing, but sadly he still will not tell me when he poops in his pants. I thought that by putting him in underwear he would not like the squishy stuff, but not to any avail had he gotten the hang of it yet. Any advice, Also this thing about the normal schedule, as a teacher, who has potty trained lots of kids, no, don't listen to the "schedule" thing of her schedule, just send her to the potty, every 15-30 minutes. Don't worry about the poop thing so much, she will let u know in due timing. As every child is unique. Whenever u feed her, sit on the pot, 10-15 minutes after a meal, applaud her for even trying, eventually she will one day go and make a big deal when she does, to teach her to go in the pot, although, when children become constipated that can be tricky and they refuse to poop in the toilet and hold it in. of fear that it hurts too much to eliminate.

My 2yo was pee trained first. She would go poo daily but always in her panties. It took us about a month of poopy panties and then she got it and now she never has a poo accident. Hang in there, she'll get it real soon.
