Don't push him... He will go to the potty when he's ready. A book, a video or a potty that gets your child interested in moving on from diapers is a step in the right direction with the added advantage of making it all seem like fun. Explain the process whenever you can. I did that with my daughter and in less than a week, she was going to the potty all by herself. Your son is inevitably going to have a few accidents, when that happens, clean up the mess and no comments...Praise every effort. Hope this helps you.

what I would suggest is to send him to the potty whenever u or ur husband goes. When he does anything in the potty give him a treat. Always let him know he is doing great even when he cant go. But make him sit on the potty for atleast 3 minutes.

I would say even if he has no interest in using the potty I would take him into the bathroom when he tells you he needs to poop and if he's already made a BM in the diaper take the diaper off and show him where poop is supposed to go and explain it to him. This is how I had to do with my daughter and she's doing the BM thing good i'm having trouble with the peeing on the potty

Good Luck!
