I have a 4 1/2 yr old and an almost 2 yr old. We currently have the older one signed up for 4 days a week at preschool this year but we are really wanting to get my younger son in for at least one day a week due to separation issues and socializing. We can't afford to do both so I am having trouble figuring out whats best for both boys. I have the option of putting the 4 yr old in for 3 days and the 2 yr old in for one, but I feel like I am cheating him after his teacher told us last year that we would be holding him back with anything less then the 4 days.... I want to be fair to both kids, and a part of me knows he will be going into Kindergarten next year and my time with him will be gone. Any help???
I dont want to hold him back for my own selfish reasons, but this is my last year before school and he will be in college before I know it.

Keep the 4 year old in school for 4 days and try and find some kind of group that you can join to "socialize" with your younger child. At 2 years old it truly is all about socializing.
