I have a little boy who is two and a half. He is pretty good at colours/shapes and counting (he can count to 10 now), but he has a bit of a speech delay and so ABCs and language development has been a bit of an issue. Well, today I was getting ready for school and he was in my room with me, drawing on a piece of paper. I was listening to him talk to himself when I hear him go "A, A, R, N". I was like "OH MY GOD, you just spelled your name!!" (Its actually Aaron, but one letter off ain't bad.. lol) The letters he drew didn't look anything like what he said they were, but I was just so shocked that he almost spelled his name... I was so proud of my baby!

Just thought I would share that with you all... and wondering if you have any proud mommy moments to share!

I told my little granddaughter of 21/2 that she was a gorgeous little girl, and she replied "You're welcome, Gonnie!" How sweet is that?

My DD (2 1/2) just told me all about her 2-year birthday party. Things that we hadn't brought up or reminded her about. Surprise! I didn't think she would be able to remember something so long ago at her age.

Everyday brings proud mommy moments ;) A couple days ago we were on our way back home from taking our 19 month old DD to aquatots when we heard her singing, my husband turned the radio down so we could hear her and she was singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" word for word...it was soooooo sweet. Then she growled "Above the world so high" and we busted up laughing so now when she sings it she growls that line and we still crack up!
The day before I was singing her ABCs and she started singing at where I would stop, if I did ABC she would do EFG and back and forth. This stage is so amazing!!
