Sometimes when I ask my three year old a question he just repeats it instead of answering it. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it normal? He was really premature and I worry all the time about him. Any comments will be a big help

My daughter did that all the time!! When she first starting talking would would try like mad, we would repeat and repeat words and all she wouls say was "yep" or "ok". I don't actually recall her EVER repeating after us. Some words she just picked up and others, like mom, took her months to learn and you could not try to correct her if she said it wrong cuz she would get upset. She will be three next week and is a great talker but if you truly believe that there may be an issue try to get your son assessed by a speech pathologist.

Yes, that's normal. He's just in the "parrot" phase. My son does this, as well... just be careful of EVERYTHING you say!!! LOL! My son even mimics everything we say or do, but it's so cute to see him huff and put his hands on his hips when we're trying to punish him!
