would benadryl cause a rash that disapears and then appears on a diffrent spot on a 23 month old toddler boy

No. Benadryl is an allergy medication and is used to stop allergic reactions. If your child has eaten something new or different, it can cause a rash. Sometimes, people don't become allergic to something until they've consumed it a few times. He could have acquired an allergy to something he's been eating for a long time. Call the doctor if it gets worse, or if he starts having trouble breathing.
