Ready for Potty Training??

I wanted to share this with everyone because I thought it was so precious. Keep in mind, I have yet to really introduce the idea of potty-training to my son. Last night after my 24 month old got his bath, he refused to put his diaper on. So I let him run around a little, and he ended up peeing on my kitchen floor. Well when I went to clean it up, I noticed on his little butt, there was poopie. I rushed him into the bathroom, and in my excited voice started talking to him about the potty, and he was excited too. So we sat him on the potty, and after a while he poopied!! Not a whole lot mind you, but enough to understand what he was doing. When he was done I wiped his rear while he wiped his "pee-bug" and then I let him flush the toilet. We did a little celebration and I gave him a brownie and called everyone I knew, I was just too excited. Afterwards he still refused to put back on his diaper. I had to struggle with him. Does this mean he is ready for potty-training??

That is awesome, i would just keep trying to put him on, get some underpants and see what happens, as long as hes not refusing that is good, wish my two year old would start soon, i have tried it all.

It sounds to me like he's getting ready. Put him on the potty at bath time for a while and see what happens.
