My little boy screams uncontrollably at restaurants. It has become unbearable. Any suggestions?

Could you pin point when he does this? Is it when you are waiting for food, or when you come in, or if he is tired, or when the restaurants are loud? There could be a number of reasons he's doing this, from boredom to overstimulation. Figuring out what the trigger is will help in finding a solution. If it is just plain old bad behavior or attention seeking, I would get up and remove him from the restaurant every time he does it until he learns to stop. That's not an easy solution, I know, but it is probably the only thing he will understand. (Unless you spank. If that is the case, I would remove him and spank him.) Before you go this route, I would try to distract him (let him bring a book or quiet toy), avoid going to restaurants when you know he will be tired (you may join the early bird crowd for a while), and avoid restaurants with loud music or poor accoustics. The noise level might be overstimulating him, or he might think it is acceptable to be loud because the environment is louder than he is used to. I had one that talked unacceptably loudly in restaurants, and we finally figured out that he was trying to match the noise level around him.
