Sit and Stand Stroller vs. Double Stroller

I have a double tandem stroller and am now wondering if a sit and stand stroller would be easier to push and turn. My children are 8 months and 3 years 10 months. What is your opinion? What would you prefer?

i didnt care much for eith one of them so i got a regular single stroller and a lil leach thing they make for kids and put it on my older one and put the youngest in the stroller.

I have both. I hate the sit stand. I think it's harder to push. I bought it for foster kids we had. One was 2 1/2 the other was 11 months. It's also terrible for getting things in and out of the basket since the jump seat covers it up. I now have a double for my own kids, one is 20 months and one is 7 weeks. I think the double is easier to push and manuver, plus better for accessing storage basket. I'm going to get rid of the sit stand. Just my experience. Look at a sit stand in a store and see how the basket gets covered. I would almost think you could just get by with a single stroller. I would think your older one should be wanting to walk more than ride.

i'd go with the sit and stand personally in your situation, my kids are much closer together, so I had to get a double stroller, though it is harder to manouver a lot.

It probably would be easier to push the sit and stand stroller but will your older one stand for long periods or is he ready to just walk mainly so you just need one stroller.
