my daughter will be 13 months old on the 8th and for the past few days when I put her to bed (at her normal bed time or even a little later) she will scream at the top of her lungs and kick and will not fall asleep. Usually she will just go to sleep right away. And she usually sleeps through the night and last night she just cried most of the night. It has been very stressful. Any suggestions?

she never sleeps with me so it couldn't be that, when she cries like that and I pick her up she doesn't want to be held. I think it is teething but also my bf stayed for over a week and she loves him haha the whole time she pretty much glued herself to him so that could be it too. He left to go back home and last night yea she kicked and screamed but she slept all night lol

Sounds like sleep anxiety to me. My daughter went through some of that and that's what the doctor told me. She only would sleep with me. Otherwise she would scream and yell all night. I still have issues with her but I am working them out during the nap hours. Hopefully this week we plan on working on the nights again. She will be 13 months too..

Is she teething? A lot of babies also at this age begin to have separation anxiety also..that may be the culprit. Don't give in to her though...a little crying never hurt anyone:)!! She will out grow it soon as long as she knows you are not going in there to get her. She is trying to test your limits.
