When Ayden was sick we let him sleep in bed with us, but now he won't sleep a full night in his bed. Help! Also any advice on kicking the binky habit would be appreciated too!!

My three years old son slept with us forever, but the last six months he has been sleeping in his big bed. We took him and let his set on matresses and look at beds with us and told him it was his big boy bed. We finally decided on a full size bed with bed rails and he loves it. At first he would not sleep in it, so I would set in it and play with him and read books to him every night it it just to get him used to it and talk to him about sleeping in it. But I never pushed him I just let him take the lead on it. And then one night he told we he would sleep in his big boy bed if mommy would stay with him. After a few nights of sleeping in his bed with him I started sneeking out once he was asleep, and now he sleeps almost everynight in his own bed. He does better with a fan on in his room for a little noice.

My daughter is 2 1/2 and sleeps in a twin bed. When she was about a year old she refused to sleep in her crib, so I started letting her sleep with me until I could figure out what else to do. I didn't have the money to go by a new bed of any sorts and a friend of mine had a twin bed that she needed to get rid of because she didn't have any room for it. She had NO problem moving to her Big Girl bed. She's been sleeping in her twin size bed since she was about 16 months and has not woken up once during the night, or asked to sleep with mommy.
