my little girl is 1 yr old she wants everything done her way and she fights a lot what can i do to prevent this from getting too far /?

i agree with the other ladies BUT it's also time to start giving her limited choices. she's at the age where she wants some independence. give her a couple of choices (not too many), then either way she will be doing something acceptable, but she will feel like she made the decision to do it.

thank you so much for your advice i will follow them the correct way i hope this works! ... i have talked to her in a nice way but she just dont understand laughs i work most of the day and i think the babysitter spoils her a lot thats why she does her way!

Yo need to stand firm and make her realise that no means no! Do not give her mixed messages by letting her do something one minute and not the next. Once she has learnt that mum means what she says you will have a child that will understand the meaning of no and be a far better child for it. Just ignore the tantrums this is just her way to control you. All children hate to be ignored and she will soon stop if it is not having an affect on you.

I agree with jen. Although my daughter is nearly 4 and she started at that age it is a lot of them not understanding thats why they do it and only now that our daughter understand what we want does she listen better. It all takes time and patience. and she will most likely grow out of it if you stick to your guns!

show her right from wrong if she has a fit tell her no in a firm voice if she kicks creams crys bites remove her from the situation sit her sumwhere she cnt hurt her self or anybody else n leave her to calm down.
