Every child develops differently dont be concerned your child will walk when she is ready and as for the crawling lots of kids skip this step and dont crawl at all. Best of luck :)

My daughter crawled at 7 months and walked on her first birthday but my son was a differnet story. I didn't really do anything differently with them, he just wasn't ready to walk until 15 mo - he crawled just fine at about 10 months but your little one should be fine, give her a little more time.

How often is she carried? I would limit carrying her from place to place around the house, give her lots of floor time (out of a playpen) and encourage her to get up and move about. My son didn't crawl, but started walking @ 15mos. He was walking around furniture before that, but not freely until then. Having them around other mobile kids gets them interested in walking, which is why 2nd plus children tend to walk before the first one did. My son really started going with a shopping cart over the other walking toys he has. Have her walk holding your hands and encourage her to try to walk between you and someone?

When you are at home, give her unlimited floor time whenever she is awake in a safe area. Sit and play periodically with her, but also do your own thing nearby. Leave the room and come back in short intervals. She needs to be motivated to move. Place toys/cups/objects of interest and you out of her reach and she will get to you in her own time. You will most likely be met with some periods of frustration (both you and her) but try and wait those out, unless it becomes frantic. Good luck and you will be totally amazed when she does start moving and then you will pray and wish she stayed in one spot instead. :)

I believe each child will want or learn to walk on their own pace. My oldest son walked at 10 months, my middle child walked at 7 months he did even try to crawl, and my youngest just started walking at 15 months. My oldest son did not have a walker but he did have a play pen. My middle child didn't like his walker or playpen and neither did my youngest. All of my children spend a least one hour on the floor.

Floor time is an excellent way to get your LO to crawl & walk. Also, you can buy her a little walker stroller that's sturdy. They sell them in the toy section. That helped my daughter to learn to walk.

Sorry, not sure how to help. LOTS of floor time is the only thing I can tell you. My son was ALWAYS on the floor with a blanket under him and he walked before he was 9 months. I know of many mothers who dont put their children on the floor and they dont learn to crawl or walk.............
