My daughter is 5 years and she doesn't want to go to kindergarten, I don't know if she will accept the idea of going to a new school leaving all of her friends she knows from preschool. Any ideas of how to convince her that's it's part of growing up? I appreciate it.
Thank you,

Thank you Brandi for your advice. I really appreciate it and actually she already started to take it smoothly and understand that it's going to be fun to go to a new school. Thank you again.

you have to present it so she knows she doesn't have a choice first. Then I would emphasize all the wonderful things about kindergarten. She'll make lots of new friends, they'll have new and different activities for her to do, she'll start to learn many new things like reading, math, science, etc. Just be encouraging and positive. She'll soon see that she is going to have to go and it won't be as bad as she thinks. Once she starts going, I'll bet she does just fine. good luck.
