My daughter is going to be 1 year old on January 26th. I want to switch her over from formula to regular milk. Any ideas on how to do it?

My Dr also recommeded mixing milk with formula. Also, we probably did a no-no, but the first few cups of milk, we mixed with Strawberry flavoring, just so it was new and a treat. Then we put less and less flavor until it was just plain milk (maybe 3-4 days) and now she loves milk.

I also agree with the other Mommies. You could try giving her a sippy with milk in it at meals so she realizes it's not formula. Putting it in a different container (sippy vs. bottle) will help her understand it's not formula and it won't be coming from the formula container.

I stopped warming my son bottles around 9 months and he drank them room temperature or sometimes cold. When I switched his formula to whole milk he didn't notice the difference. I think a lot of toddlers have a hard time switching because of the temperature of the milk.
I like Lorraine's idea.

My sons doctor recommended mixing formula and whole milk and just keep decreasing the amount of formula until its only milk. good luck:)
