my son really isnt talking very much, he says momma, dada, kitty, ball, dog. he knows what you ask him and want him to do. and he'll go and do it. when we are driving down the road and see a truck he points and grunts and i say "truck" but he never says it. should I be worried?

My son is 20 months old and i was thinking the same as you. He barely says much, like your son he can say a few words like mum, dad, car, tickle, fish, And also understands what you ask him to do. I keep hearing that all children are different and some learn quicker than others, but i still worry a little bit. If your not sure pop into your health vistor and have a word, i'll be poping in to mine next week. I just think to myself he'll get there eventualy and just keep trying to encourage him along the way x
