Technology and what is too young

My daughter will be 2 the end of February and she loves to play on our ipad and I hate to admit this but she has her own iphone (our old one). We downloaded educational apps, puzzles on it. She loves to play pretend with her kitchen, put actual board puzzles together and loves to read, well look at books. But I'm wondering is it just too young to be using technology. She plays about a total of 20 minutes a day on them, maybe 5 minutes here and there. She very often goes days without touching them. What are people's thoughts on this.

I think its too young, my daughter is 2.5 and has never even seen an Ipad. We work on writing and reading (she can write her name and read simple words) but thats what she is into right now. She already knows numbers up to 50 on her own and abcs (assuming these are what your daughter is learning on it) and we did songs and rhymes to learn it. I guess I mean theres a time and place for it, long car rides would be fine to keep them busy or like at a restaurant to keep them from tearing the place apart. 20 minutes cant be that harmful, but it can become a habit.
