my little one was the same (my 1st baby as well) he had all his teeth by one (ugh) i used baby orjel and ibrofin. and still added chrused ice chompers (in the teething feeders) or frozen cloths during wake hours. i rember puting my pinky in his mouth & pressing on his gums for him (to help the tooth come threw) i used these fancy teething things. Rub a little Tylenol right on the spots where you can feel the teeth coming up, it will numb them, when you give them a dose of it. I also use the freeze pops, the cold will help take the swelling down and numb it all at the same time.

Cold wet facecloths work great. My pediatrician said that if they are in a lot of pain that you can give them a full dose of advil and a full dose of tylenol at the same time. Also hylands teething tablet work great too.
