My 11 month old son, is chewing his crib.... not the top part (which has the plastic) but down the sides. It is making me a little nervous. I give him those all natural teething tablets, but he just seems to enjoy the crib. Any suggestions ??

thank you for responding ! i have the bumpers, and he has a toy for the side of the crib. maybe this is just an excuse to get him a new toy for the crib. haha. thank you so much. i will definitely look into that all natural teething relief.

if the teething tablets dont work, try teething relief. u give them 1ml and it works straight away. its also a natural aide and available over the counter from any chemist. another suggestion is maybe get a cot bumper and/or one of those 'cot activity toys' that hang over the side of the cot. my son loves it and its a great distraction for him. this may prevent ur little one from chewing on his cot.

The teething tablets seem to help, but I don't want to give him too much. I will try the washcloth. Thank you so much !

When my daughter (21months) is teething, she chews on EVERYTHING and she's perfectly fine, so I wouldn't be too concerned about it. :) We also use the teething tablets and teething rings. Before she had all the teeth she does now, she used to like chewing on cold, wet washcloths for something different. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your help. He does like the teethers. I will try to get some more and just keep them around him. He just gets bored with it. : )
Thank you !!!

Does he like any of the teething rings? My suggestion is to make sure he has those things in his crib....I'm not sure if you can purchase extra plastic parts from the maker of your crib. I would also check if this is harmful to him to chew on the sides..make sure nothing is toxic. Sorry i don't really have any other suggestions for you.
