Where do I get these little tablets? They seem like something that might work for us.

I use to tablet pills.  They dissovle in the month within seconds. They work they same as panadol. if i knew my baby was teething i would give her two in the morning and two before bed and you couldn't even tell she was teething and the best part is its natural. . .none of this man made chemical stufff.  And I agree with doing sign language 100%.  It works great and helps with their speech even.  I recomment signning with ur child/ren.  It has done wonders with my family.

I've noticed other people have mentioned those tablets too. Do you just put them in their mouth when they wake up at night? How do they not choke on them?

a naturalpathic company by the name of Hyland makes these tablets that i used with my daughter.  they contain chamomile and fennel and other soothing natural ingredients.  they really seemed to calm her down.  they make a variety of different tablets and they do seem to help.

I'll try anything except the 'cry it out' method....Brayden has actually been sleeping in his own room since he was 4 months, but I'm seriously considering co-sleeping just so we can all get a good night's sleep. He's been waking up 4-5 times a night....anyway, I better go...I just joined this sight it is so addicting but I'm tired! Nice talking to you.

beau has 12 teeth now and since the 12th one has finally come through, it was a nightmare. it takes them along time to get over it and all they want is their mum. panadol if you have it. you can give you son a icypole to help with the pain. well helping your son sleep through the night it may take awhile before he gets used to it but it might be new surrounds for him if he has been sleeping your room in his cot.

That's great! I can't wait until our little guy starts talking, but I gotta admit, sometimes it is so funny when he gets a temper, and I can't help but laugh....then that makes him even more mad! Any advice on getting my baby to sleep through the night? Since he started teething he stopped sleeping and he won't start again!

i agree with you there when they cant express what they are asking you for. my son is at the stage where he is talking but gets really frustrated because i or my husband dont understand what he wants. otherwise he is a happy go lucky little boy. when he has been having a tantrum, we have been distracting him . its not to long before he is happy

My baby is almost 11 mo. old and sometimes he can have the worst temper....other times he is totally a sweety...this is totally normal though. Babies that age don't know how to express their wants and needs yet so it is up to us to teach them. One thing that might help is teaching some simple sign language so your baby can tell you what he/she wants. I've been teaching signs like 'more', 'juice', 'eat', 'water', 'sleep', etc. It is also fun to teach animal signs, just because it's so cute to watch them do it! Anyway, you can get books on signing at the library. The other thing I do is try to verbally express what my baby is feeling since he can't. If he gets really upset and throws himself back I might say something like, "You are really mad. What made you so upset?" It is important to not just say that everything is going to be okay because in their world it is not okay. It's good to acknowledge what their feeling, and the best way to get past a temper tantrum is to use distraction and get them interested in something else. Hope this helps!
