To say restroom in signlanguage you cross your middle finger over your index finger.. Cross those two fingers and wave them to her everytime you take her to the restroom that way she understand the concept that it means to go to the restroom. Take her from every 15-25 minutes that way she does not have as many accidents. Also, setting up a reward system would work as well. If she goes give her one of her special toys or snacks or do something that she would really enjoy. And alot of praise helps too. My son has slight autism so i can relate to the speech problem. good luck i am trying to potty train my son as well.

you can get baby sign books at any bookstore or even your local library. try looking it up online - there are tons of sites that show you the basic signs. for potty training you really only need two signs - the sign for potty and the sign for all done. Really though she's made up her own sign for needed changed so you can go with that. Reinforce that when she needs to go she can point to or grab her diaper.

Try keeping her in shirts and pants/skirts instead of onsies or bodysuits. it makes it easier and faster to get the clothes off and sit her down.

Also make sure you are letting her know that when she does go it's a great job! You can tell her she did a good job sitting on the potty even if she doesn't go. That will encourage her to want to do it more.
